We’ve all been there. You get to the office and your computer won’t boot, or you accidentally spill coffee on your laptop. All of a sudden your day is derailed because you’ve got to get your computer back up and running. But it’s not a total loss because you backed up all of your data, right? If you’re like most people, you’ve been meaning to, but it’s complicated or time consuming and you just haven’t quite gotten around to it.
The WordPress Maintenance Plan helps put your mind at ease with regularly scheduled backups of your site, so any issue can be resolved quickly. As an added layer of insurance, a second copy of your backups are stored off-site—separately from your web site—just in case anything happens to your web host. This way we can restore a WordPress install using the off-site backup and be back online in as little time as possible.
WordPress is like most software in that it is important to keep it up to date with the latest version so that you have access to the newest features and security fixes. I’ll keep an eye on your site and make sure updates are installed regularly. In the rare occasion that an upgrade breaks your site, I’ll troubleshoot the problem. If I can’t get the problem fixed in a few minutes, I’ll roll back to a stable version of your site and give you recommendations on the best way to proceed.
It’s like having anti-virus for your web site! My security system checks your site for potential problems and helps fix them before they become an issue. It also scans for malware and incoming attacks, and blocks bots that are up to no good from accessing your site.
We’ve all got questions in life. What should I wear today? Did I leave the stove on? What did I eat for breakfast yesterday? I can’t answer those questions for you, but I do have the answers to your WordPress questions! If you need guidance or just have a question, you get my expertise at no extra charge.

Maintenance Plan Alpha includes a weekly database backup and a full-site backup once a month, with a total of 10 stored backups. This is good for static WordPress sites where content doesn’t change very often. Once a month, coinciding with the backup schedule, I’ll update WordPress and all of your plugins to the latest versions, and do a quick review of your site to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Maintenance Plan Beta includes a daily database backup and a full-site backup once a week with a total of 20 stored backups. This is ideal for WordPress sites with active blogs or e-commerce, where content, comments, or orders are received on a daily basis. WordPress and plugin updates are done on a bi-weekly basis, on off-peak hours so that your site’s visitors aren’t interrupted.
